1. What EdgeTest is

EdgeTest is a research and analysis tool. It backtests trading strategies against historical NSE market data and shows you how those strategies WOULD have performed in the past.

EdgeTest does not execute trades, does not connect to your brokerage account, and does not handle your money in any way.

2. Not investment advice

Nothing on EdgeTest is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. Backtest results, AI-generated explanations, strategy templates, and every number shown on this site are for education and research only.

Past performance does not predict future results. A strategy that performed well historically can lose money in the future. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser before acting on anything you learn here.

3. Data and accuracy

Backtests use end-of-day NSE market data (bhavcopy and derived datasets). We work hard to keep data accurate and current, but data can contain errors, gaps, or delays, and simulated costs (brokerage, taxes, slippage, margin) are estimates that will differ from your real-world costs.

Results are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.

4. Your account and fair use

You are responsible for activity under your account. Free-plan limits (backtests per month, history window) are enforced automatically. Automated scraping, reselling of data or results, and attempts to disrupt the service are not permitted.

5. Payments

Paid plans, when available, renew until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice. Taxes may apply as per Indian law.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeTest and its creators are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or other damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on its output.
